i need a good bike for beginners around $500 for mainly freeride/DH and some DJ/street. basically a bike for someone whos just starting and isnt afraid to take a few falls...
i was also considering Marin b-17, ironhorse maverics and maybe spesh rockhopper/hardrock?

im open to any other suggestions:thumb:

Seems pretty good, for your purposes.

I know it doesn't have anywhere near the top components, but it'll be decent. I can't believe they can make decent bikes for this price, with a suspension fork and disc brakes.
