Just picked this up:

I think I got a fairly good deal even though the bike needs some work.

I live in Va Beach, so I was able to check the bike out. Seams like everything works, just needs some TLC.

What do you all think?

I saw that bike because I have a similar one and would like to find a matching one for my wife (kinda sappy, eh?). I check eBay every few days for LeMonds and happened to notice that one. . . it's remarkable because I don't think I've ever come across such a neglected Zurich.

If you were able to see the thing in person and felt satisfied the flaws were minor enough, you probably got a pretty good deal.

Now, if only this 47cm Zurich (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3656177183&category=7298&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1) would sell for the same price. . . that would be a deal!

I've been checking on eBay for Zurich for awhile also. I would not have considered this bike if I had not been able so see it. With a little work I plan to restore it to the condition it deserves. I can never understand why some people spend a lot of money on something and then not take care of it. The bike must have been left out in the weather.
