I need some advice...

My current frame is a Schwinn Le Tour ('80 I think.) My friend is selling his Paddy Wagon frame/headset for pretty cheap (~$100) and I'm tempted to buy it. Track frame vs. road frame. More durable? etc.

Do you guys think I should I take it off his hands or just stick with the Schwinn?

I ride a Paddy Wagon and love it. It's a great frame, although it is quite heavy and overbuilt. It has a more roadish geometry and sloping top tube, which makes it quite comfortable to ride. For $100, you really can't go wrong. You could probably turn around and sell it for the same amount if you're unhappy.

But I love mine.
