Utility Cycling - "Xtra-cycle": A DIY approach (pics)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

These aren't mine, just something I see on my commute than makes me smile. I just got a digital camera, so I thought I'd post a couple-a pics (if I can figure out how, that is):

Who says Wally-world bikes are all that bad?

Hmmm. Looks a little bit dubious, if you ask me. I wonder if the rear suspension still works...

Here is a detail on how the basket is hooked up. That chain could use a little lovin', as could the tire :(

I totally didn't notice this while I was taking pictures! Must have been too keyed in on the basket-bike. I'll have to go back and get some details of this bike, for sure!

Well, whaddya think? Practical, or practically insane?

That dude lives like 4 blocks down the street from me, just south of Vine. I see that guy on the bus at UNL all the time. I've always wanted to ask him about his bikes.
