Hi -- I've been alternating bicycling with sculling for exercise in my dotage, and recently was able to pick up a nice used TerraTrike Cruiser to add to the stable. Still getting used to it, but it's a lot of fun -- including all the remarks from onlookers...

I live in north central Florida -- the "other Florida". Unfortunately, it's getting less bucolic as folks who moved to south Florida realize the mistake they made, and are moving north to our area.

Hello firstluff--sculling as well? There's a few others here who scull, but not many. Do you have bikes other than the TerraTrike?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

I live close enough to the University of Washington that I have seen the sculling teams on Lake Washington :) .

Thanks for the welcome. I do have more cycles: a Trek 8000, a couple of "beaters", and a ca. 1960 Raleigh 3-speed. My rowing shell is a Peinert Dolphin, an open-water recreational racer -- it's capable of more speed than I am...
