I was just wanting to share a little idea that came in my head.

What if someone with a bike like this

had a rear wheel motor to make it a AWD E bike? think of the traction! :twitchy:

They tried that AWD stuff on motorcycles long ago, but found you had all the traction you needed right up to the point of having your front wheel in the air anyway, so why bother?

Rokons still use it, works well for serious, slow speed, rough terrain crawling.

I could see it for ice and snow on an E-bike, but you generally have about all the traction you can use with one motor.

I never liked the idea of having exposed spiral bevel gears on those bikes.
