I finally went over the 1000 mile mark for the year. That breaks last years total of 900 miles. That may not be alot for some, but considering I'm diabetic and had a heart attack almost 3 years ago, I'm happy with my progress. Other great things that happened so far this summer, I rode 2 days in the Tulsa Tough rides, one for my longest distance of 42 miles. Broke my fastest speed by going 40 mph, downhill of course and went clipless in June. Still alot of riding to come before the years out. I hope your goals are also being broken so rock on Clydes and Athenas!

Good job. I will have to figure out a mileage goal for myself for next year, my first full year of riding (hopefully). If you are a type 2 Diabetic you can join the type2team. Look for the post under the Clydes form. From what I can see it is a bike race across America. Looks like four person teams with riders alternating sections of the ride. It lasts a little over 5 days.

Congrats! At the beginning of the year I was lucky to be able to make it 3 miles to work. My year's goal was 300 miles. Isn't that funny. I'm well over that now and when I think back to 4 months ago I am very happy to be riding 30 miles at a time now. Goals are fun to break aren't they!!

Good job Man! You could improve your health a bit more if you do more riding than strumming that strat. Tell you what, I'll post an address so you can ship it to me. I'm doing this for your own good!:D

Great job. Now you have to set new goals. That is always a good thing.
