Road Cycling - KHS Flite 2000

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Bike Blowout is selling KHS Flite 2000 for $1,900, how would you compare this to a Trek 2300?

I would get the 800 over both of those.
I'll agree to that. The Flite 800 uses the excellent Reynolds 853 steel tubing. (2003 model)

I just saw the prices and I'm a bit perplexed at why the Flite 800 is better. The 2000 has full Dura-Ace, carbon stays, and is the top of the line road bike for KHS. It's only $550 more too. Does the Reynolds 853 steel tubing really make the 800 better? Both are great deals though I think.

Ride them and you'll get the steel.

I have had the Flite 2000 for the past 3 years. I love the bike.. It rides great. I just got the Flite 2000 2004 model today. Love it.
Once you ride both of them I think you will chose the 2000
