Just moved to the Quantico/Dumfries/Manassas area. Any regular group road rides in the area that anyone is aware of?? I searched the archives on this, but nothing came up. Thanks!!
Ask around at local bike shops for ride info.

There is one out of Brentsville next weekend, and Nokesville at the end of the month.

It looks like we're neighbors. PPTC doesn't have a whole lot going on in Prince William County. I've lived here for 4 years and haven't found much, although there is a local racing team that has regular Sat/Wed group rides. Let me know if you want to ride sometime.

Check out Bikefred.com (Fredericksburg). They have rides throughout the F-burg and surrounding area and some on the Marine Base. Oh yeah - they have their annual Cannonball Century coming up in September too.

I'm from these parts but rides with clubs in DC, nearer to my work (and I went to school in DC). Bigger groups... and that's where all of my pals ride.
Check out Prince William Elite Racing (PoWER). http://www.power18.net/ I've seen them around but haven't ridden with their group. Have seen a few guys at races here and there, most Cat4s I think.
If you're ever out near Haymarket, there are some great rides with guys from a club out there. They used to do like 5:30 or 6PM rides with an A and B group, racers and quick recreational guys mostly. Then Wednesdays there was a hammerfest ride from the Haymarket Bicycles shop. All of their rides are worth the drive out if you can make it, great terrain.

Not many quality shops around. There's a revolutions in North Stafford and also Old Towne Bicycles in Woodbridge but I've never even heard of a group ride from those shops...
