Introductions - New Rider from Texas

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey everybody. I've been lurking around here as I prepare to buy my first bike since I was a kid. Feel free to help me out with any advice on this thread:

Hi Brendan, I've been mulling over your thread...and I have to say, I think I would go for it. You'd still have all the components, and could eventually swap them out when you have the time and the money. Or, use as trade bait or spares.
Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !
