Road Cycling - Wheel makes noise

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have had to change the tube on my race bike because it went flat
now i have pumped it up and it is seemingly ok but when I ride it squeaks slightly
I aam not sure what is causing this. It seems to be at the same point of each wheel revolution, but i can't think what to do

It sounds like your brakepad is rubbing.

Is thh wheel true? Straight i mean.
These might sound like stupid suggestions, but you may have overlooked them.
Check that the wheel is sitting on the skewer all the way.
If is's a presta valve, check the threaded washer on the valve.

Is there a rubber seal on the hub? A little grease will stop that noise...
