So I scored on craigslist yesterday afternoon and picked up this Bob Jackson tandem in pristine condition. I have only been able to find two or three pictures on the internet of a Bob Jackson tandem and they are usually from the 70s and this one appears to be semi recent. It's got some decent components on it but there are pretty irrelevant compared to the frame. The guy who I bought it from said he acquired it from the owner of a LBS who ordered it from Bob Jackson. If you can shed any light on this frame that would be great. If anyone knows the approx value that would be great too. Thanks.

Very, very nice!
Looking at the lugged frame design with the twin laterals and ovalized boob tube we'd put it at very late 70s to early 80s.
Bob Jackson has built some beautiful tandems/singles!
Enjoy the ride TWOgether!

Why not send the serial number to Bob Jackson Cycles and have them tell you when it was made?

As for the value, that's quite subjective. At the end of the day it's really what anyone's willing to pay.

Tough to put a value on something like that, but offhand, I'd say it's worth $800 or so.

Super cool. I am a bit of a vintage nut though.

Thanks for posting the pictures!

What's the standover height for the captain and the stoker?
