I just bought a '70s, English, Raleigh "Super Grand Prix" at a motorcycle shop for 195$. It had been in the air conditioned shop for 35 years at least. It is perfect, brand new you know. All the parts on it are made in England, France or Italy. It's a steel frame with aluminum everything else and it has those bar end shifters. This is my first road bike. I want to put fenders and a rack on it so I can use it to get groceries. I heard doing things with bikes this old can be tricky. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Sure. I'd suggest taking this over to the Classic and Vintage forum. They will be jealous as hell.
