Introductions - It's about time

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well i've been a member of this forum for a while now. I have not been using this forum all too much but i have a feeling that i will soon, since i plan on getting into this whole cycling thing. And since i've reached a certain age where i finally realize the importance of the oh so precious social skills... i felt it was time to formally introduce myself. So Hello! My name is Brian, I'm currently a college student going into my junior year in NYC. My other hobbies besides cycling include running, working out, boxing, cooking, eating, and watchin the good ole TV.

Hi Brian :D . I never made much use of my social skills until considerably later in life (I was considered a shy child  ), but they do come in handy.
So, are your plans for racing, commuting, or ?
Welcome (back) to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

Hehe, I've been told that I'm shy but with more and more social interactions i hope to outgrow it. As for cycling, i think it's more for personal enjoyment. I enjoy riding a bike like how someone can enjoy driving a car.

Just like those social skills, you may find that riding a bike starts to come in handy in the next few years when you start commuting to work.
Keeps work from being too much like 'work'!
