I know not everyone rides the track (velodrome), or they don't have one near where they live. But...I saw a poll on favorite track races on another site & was shocked at how many people voted for matched sprints. So...I decided to ask BikeForums.

The Keirin, I love the Keirin. It's such a blast to watch and it's one of the few races where you get that kind of utter mass chaos on the track -- no doubt reminiscent of the old 144-hour, sixes. This year's WC Keirin was totally insane...

Okay, I admit it, it's a cheap thrills thing... and I'm glad I dont [I]race Keirins...
