i always wondered about origin 8 cranks. how much better they are than bulletproof's and how much worse than sugino rd/xd whatever. they are priced in the middle

we put them on my friends conversion. Compared to the xd I use, it's not as solid of a feel.. but for the money it's not bad. The chainring that comes with it is alright too..

i have bulletproofs on one bike and the sugino xd on another. i like the feel of the xd over the bulletproofs, but the bulletproofs are anything but weak. the bulletproofs are very good for the money. i picked them up because of a budget, but i would pick them up again if i had another bike to build.
