I'm considering bikesdirect and performance bikes, and bikesdirect seems to have way too much inflated prices. So, just to take an example, how would the follwoing two bikes compare ?

I also have a performance bike store in my city, so thats an added bonus, with their free lifetime tuneups

Specs seem close to me
and the bike at performance will cost you about $100 more; unless you catch a promotion from them
but you get free tune-ups which is nice if you do not do your own work
