I'm just curious.

I was started on TRT by my Dr. about 5 mos. ago. My T levels were low, so he has me on a program to get them back to normal. Since I've been on the program, I feel a whole lot better. Better endurance and attitude ... and my life likes the change as well.

Just wondering what others have experienced.

If you are referring to Testosterone; I was on it for three years and it was great for me. Initially the dose was too small and I got an extra shot which caused the family jewels to go away, but after the dosage was adjusted everything was better.

I did grow hair on my back and briefly had a case of acne, which is weird for an old fart like me, but that cleared up, however I still have the hair.

My libedo was better as was my outlook in general. Another plus was my energy levels, which went up.

The doctor I see now says that I am borderline so he won't prescribe it and I am bummed and am thinking about doc shopping.

Would you mind telling me how you take it? Cream, patch, or shot?

It is a powerful drug and I wouldn't be cavalier about it's usage but I had no serious adverse issues.

I like the sound of this one: TRT Transverse Resonance Technique

DHEA? No, but I started popping Co-Q 10s a couple of weeks ago

engine,

Any questions? Were you talking about Testosterone?

Sai Kai Tai,

'DHEA? No, but I started popping Co-Q 10s a couple of weeks ago'

And the results are?

TRT - Testosterone Replacement Therapy

I use AndroGel cream ... I apply it each morning after my shower.

I don't abuse it. Like my Doc told me when I started, "There is a fine line between thereputic use, and abuse", so he monitors me closely. I did have some minor side effect, such as acne, and my "boys" shrinking, but that's it. The benefits have been outstanding ... especially as a cyclist.

My levels are normal now ... the biggest drawback, if there is one, is once you start, you have to be on TRT for the rest of your life.

Not sure I understand the bit about being on it for the rest of your life since my current doctor won't
prescribe it and I haven't suffered any since I stopped taking it........other than the loss of energy and the hair that is still on my back.

Have you had any problems getting it from the pharmacy? Towards the end of my usage the federal rules apparently changed and it was a bear to get the stuff. Initially I was given 10ml vials but later I was limited to 1ml vials so I would have to go to the pharmacy twice per month. It may have been the pharmacy's rules but they blamed it on the feds.

Good luck with it.

I have had no problems ... My endocronologist doctor prescribes it, and my prescription plan pays for it.

The problem with going off of it, is that you typically go back to where you were physically and emotionally ... the other issue, is that since the body stops producing test while you are on it (unless you are prescribed a Leutinizing Hormone too), it may not start back up again after going off TRT, in which case you are worse off than before.

So far, so good.:D
