Hi Gary,
There are a lot of folks here who haven't been riding all that long. Lots of folks who rode when they were younger - got away from it, and came back to it in their 40's. Not sure if you're one of those, but no matter. There are lots of helpful folks (and a few who can be a bit negative). I've found things a lot more positive than not.
Welcome, and by all means check in on a few of the different forums. Each tends to have a bit different character.
