Great Lakes - My appologies to the Toledo riding club

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Thursday afternoon at around 5pm, you guys met in a park near Maumee. There must have been about a hundred of you. About that time, 3 people road right in the middle of you, two on road bikes, and one on a MTB. I was one of those people, (on the yellow bike). I felt kinda bad about riding right in the middle of you guys, and I'm sorry.
On a side note, I saw lots of really nice Treks, and as a fellow Trek owner (Vintage 1988 Trek 360), I am happy to see them. Happy riding!

What's wrong with riding in the middle of a group of cyclists... on a bike?

I don't know. They kinda looked at us like we were idiots and I felt that we did something wrong, like we broke some unwritten law.

Ah. The stern look. Well then, that's another story.
Apology accepted.

That may have been the Maumee Wheelmen.
