Anyone know anything about the new avid brakes? Their redesigning the SDs and TIs but I don't know any details. If anyone knows, think they could let me/us know. I was going to get teh SD7 for my trials bike, but the dude at QBP said their changing/redesigning the whole line.

If you sit around waiting for the latest stuff, you'll be waiting forever. SD7's are great levers, as is most of Avids stuff.
Being Winter, QBP doesn't have everything in stock ( eg: Avid Juicy 7's ) so why not just pony up and get some current stock if you need the stuff now? If you cant wait a few months, then wait I guess, or do a google search, or try mtbr or ridemonkey or pinkbike for any sneak peeks people might've had.

I got the new 04 BTI catalog yesterday and the Avid stuff listed were SD 5's SD 7's which have a new look, Ultimate and Arch Rival. They also are stocking their disc brake lines.
