I have Tektro IO mechanical disc brakes and i was wanting to replace the pads on them. How do i know what size to get and where can I get some better pads than the ones that came on them?

I don't know too much about disc brakes, but I've heard only good things about Koolstop brake pads. They make pads for practically all disc brakes, including Tektro mechanical (D710).

I use EBC brake pads. I prefer the Gold version, for my riding conditions. I don't know the web addy, but do a google for EBC Brakes!

i checked out the golds... how will i know if they fit my tektros?
I run the EBC golds as well. I bought them from Cambria or something I think.
i checked out the golds... how will i know if they fit my tektros?Any responsible e-tailer will list compatibility. So if it says Tektro it'll fit.

ahh, i downloaded the pdf, and yes they do fit tektros. now the problem is where to find them. the "where to buy" page only helps if im getting auto or motorcycle pads... ill keep looking. cambria doesnt carry the tektro pads
