I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and was wondering if there are any bent rallies or group rides in western Canada or the NW United States this summer.

Canuck I don't know if there is a 'bent rally in Canada or the Pacific NW, but there is one in Stevens Point Wisconsin. My wife and I are going to it. We've never been to one, so we're looking forward to it.

The link for information on that one is:

To find if there are any in Canada or the Pacific NW try www.wisil.recumbents.com Though I think you might find that most if not all of the 'bent rally's are in the or near the mid-west United States.

Hope this helps.

John.

August 20-22, 2004. A lot of Easy Racer owners but all recumbents are invited.
I've never attended but I see from the photos there is a good turnout.

The BROL 2004 'Bentride in New York is on the same weekend as the
Recumbent Retreat in Oregon. The former event is in the Northeast U.S. and the latter in the Northwest, so choose the one closer to you. Both will have good turnouts.

I have no clue as to why they are being held on the same weekend, I know of a few who would have attended both of them.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. The one in Oregon wouldn't be too far for me...I wonder why they call it a "retreat".
