I thought I was toast. I checked my biking shorts when I got home and there were no stains.:)

I ride on 700 x 23's and there just isn't much for stopping power in the rear with it sliding around while going around a corner on a slight down hill. I am glad I am riding on the shoulder of the highway and there was not anyone directly behind me at the time.

I did find out that I had forgotten to set my pump back up for the Presta valves, and was getting really frustrated with my pump. I forgot that I had helped out someone else that has Schrader valves and forgot to switch it back.

Put in my new tube and back to riding. Ordered 4 more tubes from Nashbar last night and two new tires.

Thank goodness you are safe. Be careful out there, folks.

Actually, you controlled it, came to a stop and fixed the problem... Good work!
