Hi there, im new here and this is my first post. I have just recently decided to start riding again after a 10 year break :P and bought a Jamis Dakar from Performance Bikes.
Anyways, in the last week I took a nice spill while riding (and pcked up a nice little battle scar on the frame)and since then my gears havent been shifting correctly. For example; to shift too second gear i have to shift too third and forth for third and so on. Except for fifth but thats a different story (almost seems it skips it entirely) Now what bothers me more, is that when i put the bike upside down and just rotate the peddals, it shifts perfectly. I was hoping someone here might have an idea of whats going on, other wise im probably gona just take it down to the shop. Thanks.
