Pacific Northwest - SF City Loop?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
If anyone has seen this MASH video: www.mashsf.com
Anyway, in the accompanying booklet (40$ dvd ugh!) this fella named Jonathan, whose part I found to be most inspiring, speaks of his favorite SF Ride... he says his favorite route is the City Loop (25mi), which he tries to do every other night. I don't know if this is a famous route or what. I'm from the opposite side of the country but I'm curious how this route is. SAN FRANCISCO CITY LOOP? Anybody know where this is?

I'm pretty sure it's not in the Pacific Northwest. :innocent:
You might try asking in one of the California Regional forums.

Ah, the miracle of the tubes... Floridians posting about California rides in a Northwest forum :)
A quick check of the Googles turned up this:

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought Frisco was considered the Northwest. Maybe I'll repost this in the Detroit forum... Thanks

PacNW is generally considered to be Idaho, Oregon, Washington and B.C. (CAN).

I ride in the city (SF) pretty often. I don't know that this is an established route per se, but a city loop around SF would probably start on the Embarcadero; go up to North Beach; then to the Presidio and past the GG Bridge; then over to the coast and down through the Sunset District; then head back towards the downtown through GG Park; and end up back at the Embarcadero via Market Street, or by going through SOMA/Mission.
