Hey all-
The hard work is paying off! This week, I am lined up to cross 2 milestones. The first one, which I will cross tonight, is not a huge one, but I will turn over 800 miles on the odo .9 miles into my ride home tonight!!

The second one I am more happy about-today was my weigh in, and I am exactly 230lbs, meaning that by the end of the week, hopefully, I will cross the magical line into the 22x.xx lb realm!

I am psyched!

Congratulations on both. I was at 229.5 in September on my wedding day, but with buying a condo and everything else that marriage brings, I ballooned back out to 260, and am slowly working my way back down.

Keep it up

Interesting coincidence, I broke 800 on last night's ride. Congrats.

nice! I get to celebrate my 800 miles by also making my first real grocery run on the way home, since I am a 'bachelor' for the week.

Lol, so there's a second coincidence, I too am a temporary "bachelor", but my parole is a bit longer, 3 months! :D

I got to "celebrate" my 800 miles by walking 4/10 of a mile home. Got a flat climbing the final hill in my neighborhood. By the time it popped, literally, I had reached a point where walking made more sense than fixing the flat by the side of the road. So, I got off the bike, took off my helmet, shoes, and socks, and hoofed it. For those wondering about the shoes, I live in a quiet neighborhood with good roads and few cars. Walking barefoot is much nicer than hobbling along wearing cycling shoes. It was the end of a beautiful day, very peaceful, and ended up being a nice walk.

ARGHHGH!! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! STOP READING MY THOUGHTS!!

hehe. sux on the flat. I hope I fair better. .9 miles gets me off my company's property and up to the set of lights. I got a Jekyll and Hyde day going though, since it either downpours, or is sunny. I need to pick up some essentials on the way home, or I could ride home and then drive to the store, but where is the fun in that? I am trying to commit to only using the car to go to the wake I need to attend tomorrow night, and maybe not even that, if I can get my bro to pick me up.

first one is done-rolled in my driveway with 710.5 miles or so. Made a detour for the groceries, and headed home in the rain.
