how do you know if someone is a beginner?

Basically what we are classifying as a beginner is someone who has just started riding or has not been riding that long and who has not perfected all their tricks or at least is not busting the big tricks first time. It is ok to be co-sponsored but, you should not be a full sponsored rider making money from a company or team...we would then classify you as AM or Pro....AM is like beginner but in my experience these guys are busting some huge tricks....I am trying to get something going for riders who has a video cam but little money to travel and compete.....I also want to give them away to compete that is a little less threating while they are still learning.....Hope this helps?
