Pardon my ignorance, but what is the benefit of the reverse arch that you see on some forks?

In Theory they are tortionally stiffer.

Answer had some problems with them the first years they came out (IE, breakage on Skarebs), however, they seem to have fixed that now with beefier arches. I'd go with a 2004 fork with an RA if I was going to get one.

IMO, a 'normal' arch looks much better. Adds a fuller look to a bike. But that's just me. :)
