On a TV show I was watching on satellite from Colombia, they awarded a Ciclomotor.

The man had been fooled in a hidden camera show. To reward his distress they gave him a scholarship to a trade school. Since he lived so far from the school they gave him a Ciclomotor bike.

They sell for about $700 in Bogota.

Yes, you can get them--at least in the USA. I don't know where you are tho'... And if they are legal for use on public roads is another matter. Many places they are not.

These are fairly-inexpensive Chinese-made 2-stroke kits. Typical price is $150-$250, and the engines range from 30cc to 80cc. The 80cc's can drive a bicycle 40-45 mph, depending on the rear sprocket you use.

You can get these kits lowest on eBay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&dfsp=32&from=R40&satitle=bicycle+engine+-electric&sacat=382%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=62221&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=32%26fsoo%3D2&fgtp=) but sometimes the examples are inferior (there have been several revisions over the last few years) and the after-sale service of that channel can be,,,,, -lacking.

http://www.thatsdax.com/ is one online retailer that has been dealing in them for several years.

If that's what you want, why not get a moped or small motorbike?
