I recently stumbled across (what I thought was) an interesting website. It looks like some kind of education site, with a fairly detailed section on bicycling. Some of you probably visited the site already. Three sections I found partictularly of interest:
- BRAKING AND STEERING - goes into why a bicycle balances so well, and the different opinions about the gyroscopic action of the spinning wheels and the center of gravity. Also, there is a stopping distance caclulator.
- AERODYNAMICS - interesting reading and a aerodynamic drag calculator.
- HUMAN POWER - This part I really find interesting, because this is the only place I've seen in writing where it says the bicycle is THE MOST efficient mode of transportion.

Would really like to hear others' opinion on this site.
