is it possible to put a bashguard on a trek 4500 with shimano m341 cranks? i know this is stupid but i can't find the chainring bolts on it. the ones on my fisher just stick right out in the open.
it could be an integrated?

Does it look like the crank in this pic/link?
Look for an allen nut head on each of the tabs/arms coming off the main crank arm. You'll need a 4-bolt 64mm BCD bash. Something to cover over 32 teeth. Gobs, and gobs of bashrings to fit that out there.
If you can't see any allen bolts, you may have an integrated ring setup, where you'd either have to replace the whole ring setup, or the crank. If that's the case, you'd be better saving and sinking the money into a higher level of bike IMO.
