On Sunday August 24th, we've got a group ride leaving from 2624 Fayette Drive in Mtn View at 9am. We usually have a pretty good sized group, so please come out and join us!:

Pre-Ride:- We're opening the doors at 8am for coffee, bagels, fruit, etc.
- riding position evaluations: we'll do this on a trainer to check joint angles, any areas of aches and pain people may have, etc for anyone interested. It won't be a fitting, but we will check how people are moving, and make suggestions where we can. The middle of a bagel is what it will cost you!

Post Ride:
- post ride snacks for recovery!
- drinks
- a 10-15 minute foam roller + flexibility session. If people have a foam roller, bring it.
- fitness evaluations to check for areas of aches/pains, muscle imbalances

Maybe he wants to use those to calculate the avg. grade on those two roads (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=450886)? :crash:

Be careful on Ralston, the drivers are not very nice up there.

The only bad part is the intersection at the end of the path. That downhill part on Polhemus is nice IMHO.

For some reason mapmyride doesn't let you map an out and back. At least I haven't been able to find a way.

The out and back feature is found in the toolbox for both the old and new mapping tools.

We've got a route change: we will ride the Polhemous loop in the opposite direction of what is posted.
