If I want to finally do this tri, I need to get more serious in the pool. I think my mechanics need help. I am tall (6'5) and lean and I think I can be good in the pool with some help, but would like to develop good habits by practicing proper mechanics rather than the wrong ones. Any coaches or clinics in Northern or North Western Virginia area you might recommend? Thanks.

Check with Bonzai bikes in Arlington (maybe name is on the internet/phone directory as Tri-Bonzai). They are a high end tri shop and certainly should know. The owner, Mark, is at least your height and might be able to give you some pointers himself
