Hi all, first post in here. What I want to build is basically an electric trials motorcycle. Something like these (http://www.osetbikes.com/Pages/Products/Bikes.html) but with either 24" or 26" wheels. I don't need to go real fast, 40km/h would be plenty, but it needs to go slow pretty well. Any suggestions on drive systems? How light could I make it, running a dual-crown fork, 1x9 gearing, MTB wheels/tubes/slicks, and hydraulic disc brakes?

Also, would chain-driven ebikes with rear suspension "bob" under power? A motorcycle doesn't, but a full-sus MTB bobs under pedaling. I might actually end up building a frame for it.

Finally, could I rig a clutch or something similar to an electric bike? Sorry for my n00bishness on E-bikes and thanks in advance.
