Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Well, Mario C is back in form! He finished 107 out of 110 yesterday, and ended up on the ground as well, 700 M from the finish. Unhurt (apparently), and with his hair back in place, he gave a post-race interview in which he said he was setting up for the win when he and three others fell.
The race, of course, was pretty much dead flat. :)
Cheers...Gary

Cyclingnews.com has him listed as completing the race (107th):
The GP Etruschi was the first race on the Italian calendar for 2004. It was also the first race for Mario Cipollini (Domina Vacanze), who is determined to have a better season than last year. Unfortunately for the lion king, a crash with 2.5 km to go put an end to his chances in the sprint, although he escaped without too many injuries.
