After watching all these graphics about swimmers and their wingspans, I am now curious.
Height - 71"
Wing span - 77"
Unfortunately I have a short torso and long legs. Apprently a no can has for being a good swimmer. Phelps just dodged a bullet.

Maybe you shouldn't have had your arms amputated at the elbows.

Height = 67"
Span = 70"
A la "wingspan," I've always considered a better descriptive term for "tread" or "Q factor" would be "crankspan." Agreed?
I've always been told your wingspan = your height, but this totally disproves that notion.

I think it's always been more like
span ~ height
