my aunt might be buying new v-brakes, she doesn't do much riding, actually pretty much all of the riding that she does is on the pavement so she doesn't need really good brakes (probably doere or LX would work fine for her). My question is does she need to buy a kit like the one on http://www.pricepoint.com/thumb.htm?dept_id=3&deptName=Parts&sub_id=46&subName=Brakes/Accessories%20&category=True&sort=styleName , or can she just get the actual brakes alone?
