naming it!

Now cmon guys, you guys are smart. GImme some good names. Its a G&L tribute L-2000. Heres a pic:

I've actually considered using to "L's" but decided against it because my mom being an angel is one and the same. Hence Angelily vs. Angel Lily or Angellily.

I sell and buy basses too often to name them. The one bass I have been playing since high school (1982 Peavey Patriot, maple neck, completely restored by me) will never sell though. She's simply my "baby."

Otherwise I have no suggestions but to say the Tribute line is great. You might not even want a "real" G&L once you've played it!

Yeah, its my baby tooo now. But I just a name for it that amuses me when I think about it.

The tribute line is amazing. The only difference is made in Korea, or some other country like Thailand. I've never played a American made one yet. Only two Korean ones. I think the pickups are made in US too. There really is no difference.

After watching Napolean Dynamite, I fell in love with the ending tetherball scene and the line about I caught you a delicious bass. Since then, I have been catching people delicious bass on birthdays, etc.

Its cool, I was only joking about feeling bad. But the fans and groupie part, that was true :P What do you play?

None of my instruments were ever named. I sold lots of them too. The only one I've kept is a LP Jr. Not the best player (Needed a fret job the day I bought it new) but for some reason it is one of the best sounding guitars I've ever played.

At one point I decided to buy a backup because whenever I'd break a string at a gig it always sounded terrible going from that guitar to something else. So I got one (same model) in red (my main one was the brown sunburst). To differentiate I'd refer to them as the brown or red one....have since sold the red one but still occasionally refer to the other as "Junior Brown":D
