Hi everybody!

i'm participating in a bike ride called The Ride For Karen. Karen was a lady who suffered from breast cancer. she spent many days in the hospital battling the disease.

during her time in the hospital, she found it to be a very unpleasant place; definitely not a place for children.

there are camps out there which support children who suffer from cancer. these camps bring back hope, one of the most powerful tools to fight cancer, back into the lives of these children. in the camps they can have fun, make new friends, and enjoy life.

...but they need support... and this is what the Ride For Karen is all about.

on september 7th i plan in participating in the event. it is a 100mile ride, about 160km around the Newmarket area. the ride's length symbolizes the struggle cancer patients have to deal with everyday just to survuve.

i'm trying to raise at least 600$ for the event. i was wondering if you might be interested in donating. any donation is greatly appreciated!

My wife and I have raised just over $2000...

It's a great cause...

Weather does not look promising right now...I think we are going to get wet!
