BMX - this board looks cool

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Welcome aboard guys!
There seem to be a few BMX board refugees floating around that can't handle the lack of childish insults and flames on this board, but I think that's one of the board's best qualities.
Glad to have you with us.

since it is a private board, they can edit/ and kick you off. but just because they can dosen't mean they should. do you LIKE not being able to say what you think? i know, you say then just leave but the other board dosen't get many posts early morning. so merry christmas and happy new year!

You can say what you want, just fallow the basic community guidelines (http://www.bikeforums.net/misc.php?s=&action=faq&page=1#about). Have a question about the guidelines? Ask me.
I banned a handfull of members for multiple reasons, the only guideline i did not see broken was the Copyrighted Material guideline. You are more then welcome to stay around, however you must adhear to the community guidelines, i have put hundreds of dollars into the forum, and thousands of hours of work here. I do not want to see my website go down the tube due to a handfull of members.

Nobody was trying to sensor anybody's thoughts. I have almost 2,000 posts from speaking what's on my mind, yes, I have disagreed with quite a few people in that time. However, it is possible to disagree without swearing or using childish insults.

to the head dude in command. why would you put thousands of $ into this, do you make money from the banners? to make a profit?

Its a hobby, i didnt like how other forums were run, no moderation in any way, no direction, no quality etc... i figured i would do something about it, so i created this site. And no, i dont make any money off the forums, as you can see, they currently have no advertising on them in any way shape or form.

Who said i was getting nothing? I have made friends from all over the world, seen an online community grow, to the point of helping out tens of cyclists a day. The information shared on this forum will live on the internet for who knows how long, it has the potental to help thousands of other people as well.

ok, i really don't mind (too much) the semi-sensorship going on, it makes it nice for all ages. but i wish there were some more advanced questions and ppl with more bmx expirince to answer them. thats why i go to "the other place" because they have some biking geniouses that answer any question, and will spend very much time and effort to help, this is more on the mongoose level, and the other is more standard, but maby in time it will advance.

No offence intended by this comment, but how experienced were you when you first started riding BMX? The people on that level also have questions they need answered. :)

I think most members here say what they think, but think before they say it.
I don't swear or insult people I talk to in the street, as a rule, so don't see the need to do so here.
Stick around. As someone from a country where BMX is popular, but nowhere near so as in the states, I enjoy the BMX forum, even if half the time I don't understand the language or slang for some of the stunts.

This site does look cool. I really like this site. This site is fun. This site is cool. :)
I think the guys who are new to this site could learn alot from the members who are already here....cycling is generic whatever disipline you're in....so read the posts..everyone here can learn something.
GravityBMXer...I really don't understand your rants....maybe you could contribute something helpful to the forums instead of your childish comments.
