I was applying for a position in the bike section of dick's sporting goods. After calling and talking to the manager, he told me to apply online. I immediately went to the library and went to dicks.com. I think you know what happened after that.

I had the same problem at work when I wanted to see if a new issue of a magazine was out Bust Magazine (http://www.bust.com) (totally safe for work, don't worry) except I typed www.bustmagazine.com. Yep, rows and rows of b00bies on my work computer. Yep, got called for it. Luckily my boss just laughed and laughed and laughed. It's now bookmarked.

My office consisted of Bob and me. One day the owner and shop manager walked into our office. They were searching frantically for a part and needed Bob to call the parts company. He hit the speakerphone, dialed the number, and let it ring. After a ring or two, a sexy recording came up, talking about erm....phone sex. Everyone was in shock. Finally Bob hung up. He had miss dialed by one number and ended up with that recording. It was a great way to break up some tension...

Several years ago I got several business cards from a company called Plexus. I don't know if they still exist, but their phone number was 1-800-CalPlex

I forget what the numbers were, but the cards also gave the numbers beside the alpha for quicker dialing.

One lady, a computer instructor, had a problem with her cards. The numeric portion had the p and last l mixed up. P and S are the same number on a telephone, so the transposition basically had everyone call 1-800-CallSex which when called played a recording of a sexy lady's voice telling the caller to call a 900 number.

Pretty recently, I was searching through someone's Flickr stream (maybe Vikapproved's stream, maybe Surlybikes.com's stream) and saw the "Nice Rack". Of course, noticing the disc brakes and it being on a Surly made me curious - I've got a Surly with disc brakes after all. So I googled it.

Just don't ever try to bring up Craiglist. Make sure you put Craigslist. Or you will never hear the end of it.
