Incredible.

He bought the ultimate poseur bike to match his ultimate poseur car.

IT would be so much cooler if he had a roof rack instead of the trunk one.

Roger the Car Salesman: My name's Roger, Sir. May I be of some help?
Memphis: That's funny, my name's Roger... Two Rogers don't make a right.
[laughs]
Memphis: Roger, I have a problem...
Roger the Car Salesman: Yes?
Memphis: I've been in L.A. for three months now. I have money, I have taste. But I'm not on anybody's "A" list, and Saturday night is the loneliest night for the week for me.
Roger the Car Salesman: Well, a Ferrari would certainly change that.
Memphis: Perhaps, Mmmm. But, you know, this is the one. Yes, yes yes... I saw three of these parked outside the local Starbucks this morning, which tells me only one thing. There's too many self-Indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money! Now, if I was driving a 1967 275 GTB four-cam...
Roger the Car Salesman: You would not be a self-indulgent wiener, sir... You'd be a connoisseur.
Memphis: Precisely. Champagne would fall from the heavens. Doors would open. Velvet ropes would part

PS
I know that isn't a ferarri...

I betcha his *ahem* hurts with the saddle so high.

The saddle only looks high due to the goofy compact geometry. It's actually only slightly above the level of the flats of the bars.

I have a bike with the saddle higher than that, and it's perfectly comfortable, even in the drops.

I too wonder how it has avoided deformation from that exhaust. It's gotta come out anywhere from 500-1200F depending on various circumstances... Oh well, paint me jealous, anyway.

The resin holding the carbon together is not too fond of heat either.
Not a bike I would care to buy on the used market.

Spare wheels in the car?

I seriously doubt if there's room in the car for a couple of spare wheels.

he probably takes the bike down to the old olympic track or something, does a couple of laps, takes it home and stashes it for another two weeks....jumps back in the car with his blond bimbo and vrooms off....

Maybe, in between all that, he sits down on his Texas Instruments TI-99/4A and plays a mean round of Hunt the Wumpus.....

Poseur.

Doesn't he know the bike is supposed to be worth more than the vehicle it's strapped to?

Sheesh, people ... perhaps I'm jaded from living in a city where Ferraris, Porsches, and Bentleys no longer turn heads (a Yugo would turn more heads than a Porsche, although I've only seen one McLaren Merc SLR on the road so that'd work too), but why give this guy/gal so much attention and strife?
It's obvious they have much disposable income - great for them - perhaps they even earned it through considerable risk and a great amount of hard work .. but aside from that, they could be just like you or me (except for taste in cars :innocent:). And it's possible that they could be devoting as much time and energy to doing the best that they can on the bike, too...

I know if I had a few million to thrash around, I certainly wouldn't be putting around on my second-hand scooter. Cut them some slack.
You can't take it with you, so those who are wealthy-enough should go ahead and enjoy what they have.

Or perhaps I'm just naive. *shrug*

I find it strange that he has enough money for a Lambo but doesn't have another more cycle-friendly car (maybe it's in the shop though).

Duhh...(drool)...(pick nose)...uhh,...I tink dat's a cooo car; b-b-but wha's da ting on da butt of it...?

Y'know, a hitch rack on a Lambo is either a.)just plain wrong; or b.)Style Man's ultimate, over-the-top kick in the teeth to the posers.

Can't expect much as far as the driving style is concerned; after all, it's a Lambo -- more money than a lot of us see in a decade! Such a lofty soul can't be bothered with trivia like traffic laws and mores'....

Nice pic, tho....
