It was more then a few words.... The rules are simple, dont abuse the community guidelines, and you can keep your membership. Abuse the community guidelines, and i'll ban you. Honestly, the community guidelines are not that strict, and its not hard to abide by them.

Let's see if I understand this:

You and your little friends like to act all "ghetto" and "hard core," which, for some reason, requires you to act like ignorant, foul-mouthed, self-centered brats. You then proceed to throw a tantrum when it is pointed out that in so doing you are in violation of the rules. From this, you find a correlation between Joe's enforcing the rules and Hitler's mass slaughter of the Jewish people of Europe.

Did I get it all?

That is really, really funny. Joe, can we move this to the Jokes forum or something?

hail hilter?

I don't think the community guidelines are overly strict. 1,983 posts and I'm yet to fall foul of them. As far as I'm concerned, people who feel the need to use foul language are suffering from what I refer to as "small penis syndrome" (i.e. trying to compensate in other areas). Basically, if you've got something to say, why not just say it? Why does it need cussing to make it look better?

On this board, the mere act of being a "****in pro" does not automatically entitle one to instant respect. Respect is something that is earned through the content of one's posts. Having read what smoker dave originally posted, banning him was the right thing to do.

Look people, it's very, very simple. If you don't like the rules of this forum, there are plenty of others on the WWW. Personally, I'd prefer it if you stayed (and I mean that), but basically, it's your choice.

"ghetto" ? no i don't wear my hat sideways, or speak in ebonics.

"hard core? no, actually we make jokes about ppl that think they are "hardcore" i dont wear little devil clothes either.

ignorant? i'm not a genius, but i know some about bikes, which is why we are here.

foul-mouthed? i have never used any cuss words on this or any forum, or in my evryday life, but i have been known to say crap alot.
:D

self-centered brats- well, yeah, you got that right.

there is a joke forum on here? i missed it.

by the hilter thing i meant slightly undemocratic, but i know its not, because its privatly owned. see, i'm learning.

Okay, goat-kid, it's not "Hail Hitler." It's "Heil Hitler."

If you're going to prenend to be a godless bigot, at least do it properly.

bluebmx/dynokid,

To my credit, in your first postings you came off as quite a punk. Whethere this was intentional or not, it is the impression you gave, and I still think my feelings towards you were justified. To your credit though, you do have some good information, and some very valid points. Perhaps I was wrong to judge you so quickly.
All I've been trying to say is just be respectful and act like an adult. Being a jerk and flinging unwarranted insults won't bring you many sympathizers, here or elsewhere.
I do look forward to your posts in the future, and I hope you stick around.

Okay goat-kid, flame away. Perhaps a disparaging remark about my mother this time.

The joke forum is in "the lounge". I should warn you that some of the jokes there are pretty lame.

I guess I am OG I am 46. And to all you that hide behind the bill of rights so you can swear. That is not what the founding fatheres intended. It was to be able to express differences of opinion, to have free and open debate on political and religous maters not whether you cus or not. so lets try maturity for once

I must admit, i'm a mountain/road biker, not really so into BMX, but I think BMX riders have gotten a bad reputation. Mostly because of this whole hail hitler, down with goverment, swearing stuff because they can't or dont want to fit in. I'm not trying to say that all BMX riders are like that, but it just seems like a couple of people give the rest of you guys a bad reputation.

Im 42 I bike everyday, I'm trying to learn to do wheelies(nose and otherwise) and bunny hops on my MTB. I have very little skin left on my shins and I steal my sons GT Bump and crash it in the parking lot across the street.

It's obviosly a lack of talent but I can't get his bump to do anything but the brakes really suck. It seems way too heavy in the front end.
