Foo - Hemp braiders out there?

This is my stuff. The white cowry is my 5th piece completed. It's really enjoyable, and I think they came out lovely. The magnetic clasps are my favorite. Hard to install, yet easy to operate.

This is my first lick at being creative. It helps me work on my dexterity. You gotta have something to do in the downtime. What kind of hippie would I be, if I didn't braid hemp? It's fun.

I'm not sure about the quality. I bought standard hemp twine at JoAnn's fabric, and I also bought waxed/colored at our new bead shop. Lovin the bead shop BTW.

Hmmmm, bead shop for colored hemp.... Thanks for the tip. Now I know where to get the hemp twine to wrap the ends of my handlebar tape when I get the old Gran Sport rolling.

Nice work. I kinda like doing maille (chainmail) myself. It's a great way to reuse broken stainless steel bike spokes.

Nice! I like them! I make my own necklaces too, although I have never tried using any clasps on them. I'll have to try that.
