Save up more and get a better fork. Whatever you're getting for 200 won't be that much better than a Rock Shocks Dart 3 (which goes for around 130). Spending 200 for an upgrade of 70 isn't worth it. However, if you can save up closer to 350, you could get something like a Recon -- which would make a phenomenal difference.

Both are bottom of the barrel forks for each respective company. I agree with Scratcher to save up a little money. For under $300 you can get the very decent Marzocchi MX Pro Lo.

I'd still say you should either use the current one until it breaks or until you save up enough for a higher end one. Dart 1 and 3 are very similar except for the added features of lockout and rebound adjustment on the Dart 3.

So was that a call or a raise?

I'd raise you a '95 carbon Ballistic if that POS hadn't been ceremoniously cut up and thrown in the trash. I figured it would be a decent raise because of the enormous bushing slop, and the high rating on the Flex-O-Meter.

I'll call that Mag21 and raise you a slightly used SL TI with a long travel kit installed. Please disregard the fact that it's getting raped by a Marzocchi in this photo.

To the OP, I am sorry but I am not familiar with any forks in your price range.
