Personally, I'd pass on it. You can find a better deal if you're patient. Lower end fork, wheels, brakes, pretty much everything.

OTOH, it also looks like it'll take quite the beating. If that's all your looking for, then for $500 it's not bad. It's going to be a tank, though.
