Could you fine foosters point toward a good blender? I'm looking for something that can turn ice into a pulp because, from my experience, the blenders that crush ice well do everything else well, including smoothies.
Originally I was looking at this killer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxa_64EOmFI). Unfortunately, it costs $400; way more then I am willing to spend.
What do you use?

Gracias

Dude. Drink it on the rocks. :) It's better that way.
1 part fresh-squeezed (very important) lime juice
1 part good tequila
1 part cointreau if you want to spend the money on it, or triple sec if you don't.

Serve over rocks.

I have the VitaMix blender. It's a little on the expensive side, but for two years it has been crushing ice and making smoothies on a daily basis without any issues.
