Ok everybody I need you to tell me if this upgrade is a good idea. I have two bikes. First I have a Klein Q Carbon with a Tiagra/105 mix 9 speed. My Kona Jake has a full Sora 8 speed kit except for a 9 speed Tiagra rear derailleur. I am planning on upgrading the Klein to full Ultegra (a little at a time as my pocketbook allows). My plan was to move the Tiagra shifters from the Klein and put them on the Kona. All I need besides 9 speed shifters is a 9 speed cassette. Right? Anyways....do you guys think this will improve my Kona drastically. Or do you think my money would be spent better another way? Thanks for all your help.
