I'm going to see Weezer Oct. 3 in St Paul!! WOooo. They are my #1 top band, and I'm psyched.

Ok, so conundrum for foosters to solve.
Remember the best friend I went on a few dats with? He's still in the picture.
Remember triguy I was kind of dating? He's still kind of around. :innocent:

We all share a deep love for Weezer. I ordered tix with my friend- we're for sure going together.

Triguy also has tickets. He knows I bought a ticket, but he got two and is looking for someone else to go. I have a feeling that as the day sneaks up he might be looking to join in on my group--

Uhhmmmm what if I'm still kind of seeing both of them? And we all have floor tickets... and, umm. :twitchy: I'm already feeling a little awkward I haven't asked if triguy wants to come with- but then, he didn't invite me to go with him :p So, could be super awkward if we all went together, or even ran into each other.

My friend knows I kind of dated (or am?) dating triguy, triguy doesn't know anything about the friend being more than a friend.

not exactly the response I hoped for.

I mean, I'm not serious with either of them, I'm not even sure I'm interested in dating anyone... and we've never had exclusivity talks. But I still can't bring two potential dates to one place, at the same time.

Cripes, sounds like an episode of Seinfeld.

The only thing you can do is tell triguy about your friend. Nip it in the bud, so to speak...

we never talked about exclusivity either ;) you just said you'd be significant enough for me to justify a shopping spree.

maybe things will be clearer to me by October? Considering its been 6 months + with triguy and umm 6 years of friendship with the other guy and its still clear as mud to me what i want in life...

I'll probably post whining about this a few more times btw now and then.

Not to belittle your dilemma, but by then it may have resolved itself....bottom line - you should focus on enjoying the show. It's not like you created the problem, or did anything to hurt anyone.

meanwhile, practice up on all these (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=454707), just in case

We all share a deep love for Weezer.

So you all love 'Wheezer'? A common bond you all share! Well then, I'm surprised it hasn't been said yet, and in foo it must be said: Threesome! :p

Cripes, sounds like an episode of Seinfeld.

It sounds like every sitcom ever written. So you know what to do. Park yourself with 'friend' in one spot, tell him you have to go to the bathroom and say "Don't move!", then find 'triguy' (before he finds you with 'friend'), chat him up a bit, then tell him you have to go to the bathroom and say "Don't move!", then go back to 'friend'. Repeat all night. Tell us how that goes.

well, friend + is the official companion for the event considering we planned tix together. I'm just concerned what to do with the other guy, should he end up coming along/run into him/etc.

You go to the concert, both guys bump into each other, pal up and become buds... and you end up meeting a hot guy there that you DO want to get serious with.

Good work. I would buy yourself some time by making it clear that friend is still friend, for now. Unless he shares an intersection in group of friends with "triguy," he won't ever get the whole "friend zone" blues. And if "triguy" does figure there is something else at bay, then he can just go and get the fook over it.

Then again, don't listen to me. I had a reputation at the organic grocery as the butcher man who collected deli counter girls like pokemon. There was lots of drama. And you know, as organicly ****** as they were, most of them still stuck around. FTW.

Could give you an opportunity to see how tri-guy reacts. Seems it would be instructive to see how he handles things when he is introduced to someone who's a long-time friend.

Take the "Kinda-Friend" guy. Why? Because hanging out with him is fun, so you know you'll have a good time at the concert to your favorite band. Tri guy bought his own tickets, so there is no pressure for you to attend with him. Go with your friend and have a good time at the Weezer concert!:roflmao2: You can sort all this "which guy stuff" out later.

Well, he bought two tickets right? And then has informed you he is looking around for some one to take?

Normally, people do what you did - buy tickets with a friend (prearranged). So if he bought two tickets, he clearly had something in mind, and perhaps by talking to you about who he should bring (perhaps he was hoping you'd go with him?) it was his way of 'asking' you out. I could be wrong, and of course assuming he did not know you were going beforehand.

I'm not sure, he's a hard one to figure out. I wonder if I was intentionally not invited, or..? We'd discussed the upcoming concert and traded info about presale events.
That evening he posted on his facebook about having an ex ticket, anyone want to go? We're both on google chat during the day @ work... I posted immediately when I got my ticket, I'm sure he saw it?
